Working principle of the filter press

Under the action of the hydraulic cylinder, the filter plates of the filter press move along the main beam and are pressed tightly, forming a closed filter chamber between adjacent filter plates. The slime water is fed into the feeding hole of the tail plate by the feeding pump at a certain pressure. With the pressure difference formed on both sides of the filter medium by the pressure provided by the feeding pump, solid-liquid separation is achieved. The slime particles are retained in the filter chamber, and the filtrate passes through the filter medium and is discharged from the water guide hole of the filter plate outside the machine. After a period of time, when the filtrate no longer flows out, the filtration and dewatering process is completed. Stop feeding, pull open the filter plates in sequence. After the filter cake falls off, it is transported away by the transportation equipment under the filter press, and the entire filter press cycle ends.
